Fast Forward Newsletter - Fall 2007

Hello Fast Forward students and alumni.

The new year at the ICA has started out well. We’ve got 19 students, and we are hoping to be at 24 as soon as we can. The Digital Workshops are generating a new crop of media artists, with classes in Flash Animation, Digital Photography, Sound design and Digital Design. Cool stuff going on. If you haven’t been to the new ICA yet, you need to come check it out. Some great shows are on display in the galleries. It is always free on Thursday nights.

Nov. 15 – Screening of FF work at the Washington Street Art Center in Somerville
Nov. 16 – Teen Night at the ICA (free for teens)

ALUMNI

I want to have an alumni event in January when people are back from college, maybe screen a movie in the new theater and have some dinner. Does Tuesday, January 15th work for everyone? We could start in the afternoon so you can see the exhibits in the galleries, and then move into the theater for a movie screening. Let me know.

Do anyone of you have
  • new videos posted that we can link to?
  • Blogs or other websites?
Send me the links.

Other alumni news? Send it my way.

Befriend me in facebook so we can keep connected. If you are already in Facebook you might have noticed Branden Harrington announcing on Rene’s wall that Beth and I will be having a baby in the spring! Thanks for the PR, Branden!

That’s it for now. Keep me posted on what’s up. Let’s all keep in touch. Have a great fall.
